If you have been involved with the sport of fly fishing to any degree, you will know that equipment is everything.  Without proper equipment, you may cast a line or two but you will never get the catch that you yearn for.

Although you may not have the time or resources available to you to pursue your dream of being a world class fly angler, you can improve your own experience by adopting some of the same ideals as those expert anglers do. Study their techniques and listen to the advice they share.  They did not get to be as successful as they are without going through some trial and error of their own.

It is true that expert equipment comes at a premium price.  It should be considered an investment.  With proper care and use the equipment can last for years to come and can afford the angler hours upon hours of catch after catch. 

If you want to lure the fish like the experts, you need to mimic their movements.  Not only invest in the same type of equipment but follow their advice as well.  Hone your fishing techniques by getting out on the water that is the only way you will really reach the level you want to reach.
